VAB PETITION FILING REQUIREMENTS

Filing Deadline
Petitions must be received by the VAB Clerk by the applicable filing deadline listed in the TRIM Notice. An incomplete petition does not waive or extend the filing deadline.

Late-Filed Petitions
Petitions received after the filing deadline are considered late-filed and are subject to a good-cause determination before a hearing may be scheduled.

Filing Fees — § 194.013, Florida Statutes

Single petition — $50.00 per parcel
Qualifying multiple-parcel petition — $50.00 plus $5.00 for each additional parcel
Certain exemption/classification appeals — No filing fee
Checks payable to Walton County Board of County Commissioners
